Cotton for heat, rayon for drape
Pure cotton breathes best in summer but can shrink on the first wash. Rayon falls more softly and resists wrinkles, but it is warmer and needs gentle washing.
Read the size chart, not the size label
Sizes vary a lot between sellers. Measure a kurti you already own across the chest and compare it with the chart on the listing. Free-size items usually fit up to the chest measurement listed.
Check the return window
